TCS40DxR Digital-Output Magnetic Sensors

Toshiba TCS40DxR Digital-Output Magnetic Sensors detect proximity to a permanent magnet by sensing the strength of the magnetic flux density. These devices have a significantly smaller and thinner package, which reduces the mounting area in small devices such as mobile phones. These digital-output magnetic sensors are highly sensitive and ideal for open/close sensing for various applications. These applications include cellular phones, notebook PCs, digital cameras, digital video cameras. The Toshiba TCS40DxR can also be used for other products with open-close mechanisms that use on-off, hibernate, or other system-based signals determined by the distance or angle of the sensor to a magnet.
