Big Chip LEDs Family

Luminus Devices Big Chip LEDs™ are ideal for demanding applications that require maximum lumen density, efficiency, and reliability. The Big Chip LED™ Family includes white, color, multi-chip color mix, and ultraviolet LEDs. Luminus Big Chip White LEDs provide lighting designers with an ultra-bright point source of white light, which enables new applications with better optical system efficiency, breaking through the design limitations of tiled arrays and reducing system complexity and cost. Luminus multi-chip Color Mix LEDs combine dynamic color control with extremely high lumen output, featuring individually addressable reds, greens, blues, and whites packaged in a tight array designed to enable the entertainment and architectural lighting markets. Luminus UV LEDs are designed to meet the power requirements of the most demanding applications including curing, rapid-prototyping, maskless lithography, and numerous other industrial and medical applications.

SBT-90 White Big Chip LEDs™

Luminus Devices SBT-90 White Big Chip LEDs™ are large, monolithic chips, each with a uniform emitting area of 9mm². These LEDs feature an extremely high optical output, a high thermal conductivity package, and Luminus Devices' proprietary Big Chip LEDs™ (PhlatLight®) technology, the name of which is derived from photonic lattice. Photonic lattice technology creates true surface emission from the source, which enables large area LED chips with uniform brightness over the entire LED chip surface. The optical power and brightness produced by these large monolithic chips enable solutions which replace arc and halogen lamps where arrays of traditional high power LEDs cannot.
