These surface-mount devices feature extended temperature ranges up to +125°C and are compatible with industrial Ethernet systems. Würth Elektronik WE-LAN Transformers are ideally suited for applications such as the Internet of Things (IoT), hubs, routers, switches, and IP cameras.

Single Pair Ethernet Products

Würth Elektronik Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) Products require only one pair of wires, ensuring thinner cable diameters and cost-effectiveness. This compact design also reduces the number of passive components on a PCB. When used with a compact connector, SPE can save up to 75% PCB space, compared to current Ethernet over RJ45. Würth Elektronik SPE Products offer isolation in accordance with IEC 62368-1. Typical applications include Ethernet 10/100/1000 Base-T, Ethernet 2.5/5G and 10G Base-T, DC-DC converters, USB 3.1 Type C, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI, LVDS, high-speed data lines, and much more.

Single Pair Ethernet Signal Transformers

Würth Elektronik Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) Signal Transformers feature the super small WE-STST series with transformers that measure only 4.7mm x 3.22mm x 2.9mm (L x W x H). These transformers are manufactured by machine and offer 1.5kV isolation voltage and 350µH open-circuit inductance (OCL) as per IEEE 802.3. The modules have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
