Hall Effect Sensors

Littelfuse Hall Effect Sensors are semiconductor-based integrated circuits with Hall plates that respond to magnetic fields. Hall Effect devices provide digital or analog output signals that are used for proximity and continuous rotary or linear positioning. Hall Effect Sensors feature active circuitry, so they always draw a small amount of current. Digital Hall Effect Sensors are ideal for high-speed sensing applications such as washing machines. Analog Hall Effect Sensors are used to detect dial positions in appliances such as dishwashers.

55100 Miniature Hall Effect Proximity Sensor

Littelfuse 55100 Miniature Flange Mount Hall Effect Proximity Sensor is available in 2-wire (current output) and 3-wire (voltage output) options. The device measures 25.5mm (1.004") x 11mm (0.433") with a height of just 3mm (0.118"), with a choice of digital, latching, or programmable analog outputs. Other options include sensitivity, cable length, and termination. 55100 Hall Effect Sensor is suitable for position and limit sensing, rotation and flow measurement, commutation of brushless d.c. motors, angular sensing, and magnetic encoding.
