The chip positive temperature coefficient (PTC) of the battery management system offers lead-free tinned termination, a miniaturized size, and short response times. EPCOS / TDK Automotive Onboard Charging Solutions feature chip NTCs, chip varistors, leaded varistors, GFCs, surge arresters, and CeraLink® DC-link capacitors with output filtering. The leaded varistors provide high-voltage surge protection with the use of a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) inrush current limiter (ICL) for inrush current protection. EPCOS / TDK Automotive Onboard Charging Solution is ideal for battery charge/discharge systems, DC fast charging stations, and jumpstart protection. 

Automotive DC-DC Converter Solutions

EPCOS / TDK Automotive DC-DC Converter Solutions include CeraLink® DC-link capacitors, chip NTCs, and chip varistors. The CeraLink capacitors feature a miniaturized size, high capacitance density, and a high current rating. EPCOS / TDK Automotive DC-DC Converter Solutions are ideal for load-dump protection, engine management, power converters, and temperature measurement and compensation, depending on the model. 

CT Multilayer Varistors

EPCOS CT Series Multilayer Varistors offer surge current up to 1200A, bidirectional protection, no derating up to +125ºC, and fast response (<0.5ns). EPCOS CT Series Multilayer Varistors are suitable for lead-free soldering and are RoHS-compatible. Applications include ESD protection in mobile phones, cordless phones, accessories, data bus applications, control electronics, detectors and sensors, touch screens, plug-in cards, and remote controls.
