General-Purpose ESD Protection SPA Diodes

SPHV & SPHV-C TVS Diodes

Littelfuse SPHV and SPHV-C TVS Diodes are designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment against ESD and lightning-induced surge currents. SPHV (unidirectional) and SPHV-C (bidirectional) TVS didoes replace 0402-sized MLVs in automotive, LED, and instrumentation applications. These Littelfuse TVS diodes absorb repetitive ESD strikes above the maximum level of the IEC61000-4-2 international standard (Level 4, ±8kV contact discharge) and dissipate up to 8A of induced surge current. 

TVS Silicon Protection Arrays (SPA)

Littelfuse Silicon Protection Array (SPA®) TVS Diodes are designed to protect electronics from very fast and damaging voltage transients, such as lightning and electrostatic discharge (ESD). These diodes offer an ideal protection solution for I/O interfaces and digital and analog signal lines in computer and consumer portable electronics. USB 3.1 Type C Circuit Protection

Littelfuse USB 3.1 Type C Circuit Protection delivers overcurrent and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection while maintaining USB 3.1 Type C data integrity. The host and all self-powered hubs must implement overcurrent protection for safety purposes and the hub must have a way to detect the overcurrent condition and report it to the USB software. Polymeric PTCs from Littelfuse provide an ideal solution for overcurrent protection. Promoting high signal integrity on the data lines of USB 3.1 Type C interfaces offers benchmark-settling, silicon-based, low-capacitance ESD protection while providing effective ESD protection on the VBUS, USB 2.0, and control lines of the interface.
