TPA2015D1 Class-D Audio Amplifier

The Texas Instruments TPA2015D1 high efficiency Class-D audio power amplifier with battery-tracking SpeakerGuard™ AGC technology and an integrated adaptive boost converter that enhances efficiency at low output power. The TI TPA2015D1 IC drives up to 2W into an 8Ω speaker (6% THD) With 85% typical efficiency, the TPA2015D1 audio power amplifier helps extend battery life when playing audio. The TI TPA2015D1 IC is designed for use in cell phones, PDA, GPA, and portable electronics and speakers.

TPA2015D1 2W Class-D Audio Amplifiers

Texas Instruments TPA2015D1 2W Class-D Audio Amplifiers offer high efficiency with battery-tracking SpeakerGuard™ AGC technology and an integrated adaptive boost converter that improves efficiency at low output power. The TPA2015D1 drives up to 2W into an 8Ω speaker (6% THD) and has an 85% typical efficiency to extend battery life when playing audio. The built-in boost converter develops a 5.5V supply voltage for the TPA2015D1 amplifier, supplying a louder audio output than a stand-alone amplifier directly connected to the battery. The SpeakerGuard AGC adjusts the Class-D gain to limit battery current and prevent heavy clipping.
