FireFly™ Rugged Micro Flyover® Sockets

Samtec FireFly™ Rugged Micro Flyover® Sockets provide high-speed performance of up to 28Gbps per lane. Samtec FireFly Rugged Micro Flyover Sockets are designed to be future-proof with the interchangeability of FireFly copper and optical using the same micro-connector system. The UEC5 and UCC8 connectors are designed to work specifically with the FireFly Flyover System. They are not designed for use with mating cards other than those used with FireFly.

Samtec ECUE FireFly Low-Profile Micro Flyover Assemblies feature 28Gbps performance, a 3.18mm (0.125") bend radius and a wide variety of End 2 options. The Eye Speed® cables are offered in 36AWG Twinax, 34AWG Twinax and 34AWG ultra-low skew Twinax in lengths ranging from 150mm to 1000mm. These ECUE components are designed for onboard or on-package placement.
