Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP3924 Power Sourcing Equipment Controller is for IEEE 802.3af/at compliant power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. The device has all the functions of IEEE 802.3af/at. This includes detection, single-event, and two-event classification, current limiting, and disconnected load detection. All of the functions can be configured to work in automatic operation mode or software program mode via the I2C.
