The dsPIC33F core is designed to execute digital filter algorithms, high-speed precision digital control loops, and digital audio and speech processing. The dsPIC33F DSCs with Motor Control peripherals enable the design of high-performance, precision motor control systems. The dsPIC33F SMPS DSCs provide on-chip peripherals specifically designed for high-performance, digital power supplies. SMPS peripherals include high speed and high-resolution PWM, fast ADC, and analog comparators.

DSPIC33F Digital Signal Processors & Controllers

Microchip Technology DSPIC33F Digital Signal Processors and Controllers are a family of high-performance 16-bit Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) offering 40 MIPS at 3.3V, up to 256KB program Flash, up to 30KB RAM, and packages up to 100 pins. The DSPIC33F DSP family also includes an 8-channel hardware direct memory access (DMA) that allows data transfer between RAM and peripheral while the CPU executes code.
