MCP2200 USB 2.0 to UART Protocol Converter

Microchip Technology MCP2200 USB 2.0 to UART Protocol Converter enables USB connectivity in applications that have a UART interface. The MCP2200 integrates the USB termination resistors, reducing the need for external components. The MCP2200 also includes 256-bytes of integrated user EEPROM. The MCP2200 has eight general purpose input / output pins. Four of the pins have alternate functions to indicate USB and communication status.
