Lumileds LUXEON IR Domed LEDs are high-power infrared emitters tailored to application needs by offering various products at multiple infrared wavelengths and optical radiation patterns. LUXEON IR Domed LEDs are provided at 850nm and 940nm and with emission patterns of 50°, 60°, 90°, 150°, and an asymmetric radiation pattern of 95° x 58°. These LEDs also feature an industry-standard 3.7mm x 3.7mm package. This design enables drop-in upgrades in applications that require high punch, long-range, and high uniformity, including positioning and depth measurement, biometric identification, and industrial automation. This package delivers a low 2.5°C/W thermal resistance and efficiently transfers heat away from the emitter for greater system reliability and performance. LUXEON IR Dome LEDs are compatible with a broad ecosystem of off-the-shelf lenses to ease system design.
