C-III Radial Leaded Metal-Oxide Varistors

Littelfuse C-III Radial Leaded Metal-Oxide Varistors (MOVs) are designed for applications requiring high surge energy and superior multiple pulse absorption ratings. The C-III varistors are supplied in 10mm, 14mm, and 20mm disc versions with various lead options. A unique dielectric material formulation produces more repetitive surge ratings than other MOV types. The C-III varistors are primarily intended for use in AC line Surge Protection Device (SPD) products and similar applications requiring high transient energy and peak current capability in a relatively small package size.

Littelfuse Varistors are protective devices that offer several important features, such as overvoltage protection, peak current ratings from 20A to 70,000A, and peak energy ratings from 0.01J to 10,000J.
