Reed Switches

Littelfuse Reed Switches are ideal for battery-powered applications and automotive safety products. Reed switches have two ferromagnetic blades contained within a tubular glass envelope that is hermetically sealed at each end. Switches are activated by a permanent magnet or an electromagnet, and the reed switch and magnetic field combination is commonly known as the "magnetic circuit."

MISM-7 7mm Surface Mount Reed Switches

Littelfuse MISM-7 7mm Surface Mount Reed Switches are subminiature, normally open switches with a 7mm long x 1.8mm diameter glass envelope capable of switching up to 0.25A. Littelfuse MISM-7 is a surface-mount version of the MITI-7. These reed switches have a high insulation resistance of 1012Ω minimum and a contact resistance of less than 100mΩ.
