59165 MDSR-7 & 59170 MDSR-10 MDSR Reed Sensors

Littelfuse 59165 MDSR-7 and 59170 MDSR-10 MDSR Reed Sensors are 2-part magnetically operated proximity sensors featuring user-defined sensitivity and switching capability up to 200VDC at 10W. The 59165 MDSR-7 Sensors are  miniature in size, measuring 16.0mm x 2.41mm x 2.41mm (0.63" x 0.095" x 0.095"). The 59170 MDSR-10 sensors are sub-miniature in size, measuring only 11.43mm x 2.29mm x 2.29mm (0.63" x 0.09" x 0.09").

Reed Switches

Littelfuse Reed Switches are ideal for battery-powered applications and automotive safety products. Reed switches have two ferromagnetic blades contained within a tubular glass envelope that is hermetically sealed at each end. Switches are activated by a permanent magnet or an electromagnet, and the reed switch and magnetic field combination is commonly known as the "magnetic circuit."
