Sumicon 1600 Series Rectangular Connectors

Hirose Electric Sumicon 1600 Series Rectangular Connectors are a family of headers, wire housings, contacts, and accessories. The Sumicon 1600 series supports projects needing 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 34, 45, or 60 contacts. These connectors keep spliced wires hidden inside the housing for increased insulation while using a press-fit design for easy and reliable use. Available connector units include soldering, wire wrapping, and crimping types. These connectors allow for straight or right-angle dip soldering onto a PCB. Easily-mountable plastic locks are available for using the connectors separately. Additional accessories include plug cases, stoppers, as well as side- and touch-lock type plug shells and receptacle brackets. The customizability and interchangeability of the Hirose Electric Sumicon 1600 series make these connectors a versatile solution to many applications including data, signal, and radio equipment.
