The devices act as a high impedance (>10MΩ), constant current regulator passing 1μA/K, specifically for supply voltages between 4V and 30V. The cost of a monolithic integrated circuit combined with the elimination of support circuitry makes AD590 ideal alternatives for many temperature measurement situations.
